Sip’n Soda: The Home of the Cherry Lime Rickey
In 1958, William and Nicoletta Parash opened Sip’n Soda in the heart of Southampton, NY. But their diner legacy started decades earlier—back in 1918, when William launched the original Candy Kitchen in Oyster Bay. From Bridgehampton to Mattituck, the Parash family built a name serving comfort food, house-made ice cream, and, eventually, a drink that became a legend: the Cherry Lime Rickey.
Tart lime, cherry syrup, and just the right amount of fizz.

Served every summer—and now, every season.
Today, Sip’n Soda is still family-owned and proudly run by Mark Parash, William and Nicoletta’s grandson.
“I was born with a spatula in one hand and an ice cream scoop in the other,” Mark says. “What could be better than serving food that makes people smile?”
From our counter to your kitchen, this isn’t just a syrup—
it’s a bottle of family history and the start of your own Rickey ritual.
